Position Overview: 
We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and highly experienced Sales Leader with over 15 years of proven success in driving industrial product sales within the Oil & Gas, Steel, Power, and Metal & Mining sectors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing large PSU accounts such as NTPC, IOCL, ONGC, SAIL, GAIL, BHEL, and a strong track record in tendering, bidding, key account management, and business development for capital equipment, engineered products, or industrial solutions.

This role demands strategic leadership, deep industry networking, and the ability to deliver consistent growth in highly competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sales Leadership

Develop and execute a Pan India sales strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
Lead regional sales teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.

Business Development & Key Accounts
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across Power, Oil & Gas, Steel, Metals & Mining sectors.
Manage and nurture key PSU accounts (NTPC, IOCL, ONGC, SAIL, GAIL, BHEL, etc.) and expand relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and end-users.
Build strong relationships with government bodies, private sector clients, and industry influencers.

Tendering & Bidding Management
Oversee preparation, submission, and negotiation of techno-commercial offers.
Manage tender processes end-to-end, ensuring technical compliance and competitive pricing.
Collaborate with OEMs, internal technical teams, and partners for seamless proposal preparation and order execution.

Client Engagement
Conduct regular client visits, technical presentations, and commercial discussions.
Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and proactive service delivery.

Market Intelligence
Track competitor activities, market developments, and emerging opportunities.
Provide strategic recommendations for pricing, product positioning, and portfolio expansion.

Sales Targets & Reporting
Achieve and exceed annual sales and business development goals.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility.

Requirements
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience: 20+ years in industrial sales of capital equipment/engineered products/industrial solutions within Oil & Gas, Steel, Power, Metals & Mining.
PSU Exposure: Proven track record of managing large PSU accounts (NTPC, IOCL, ONGC, SAIL, GAIL, BHEL, etc.) and securing major projects.
Tendering Expertise: Strong understanding of government tendering & bidding processes, techno-commercial evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Industry Network: Strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and key decision-makers in target sectors.
Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across India for client meetings and project follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement and price analysis for OEM equipment by evaluating forex fluctuations, raw material trends, logistics, and supplier inputs.
